Salvinia Brewing Co. (2002) - big scale photographs (!00x150 cm) and an installation made of a big table with glasses and branded wine bottles, from the fictitious farm, the so-called "Salvinia". Exhibited at Dalles, MNAC appendix in Bucharest, brought me the first collab with a private gallery, "deinterese" (POSIBILA gallery, at present) which was then, the first gallery of contemporary art, run by young people, good vibes I remember.
Try to think of the fictitious farm, Salvinia, as a game I used to play with my own childhood, that ideal Paradise that everybody needs. Some of us transform their childhood into this Paradise, once they inexorably quit it. More you play and more precisely you reconstruct it, more you destroy it by transforming it in an artificially place of pathetic feelings and gestures. More you long for it, more you disintegrate it. This is the paradox.
